On Sunday morning, I got my post up and my brother helped me get a load in the dishwasher. I was waiting for the grass to dry some before I went to mow.
I headed out at 10AM and the rider mower really didn’t want to move. I finally got it going and headed to the house.
The clover was REALLY thick and lush and wet and it plugged up the mower a lot. The blade wasn’t as sharp as the first mowing so it didn’t cut as well.
It took me an hour to do the push mower work and then I started on the rider.
I finished all the mowing at the house around noon and decided to mow at the barn. I don’t usually mow at the barn every week, but with the rain, the grass was higher than usual.

It took me another hour to do the barn and I finally finished about 2PM, after 3 hours of mowing.
I went out to get photos and discovered the first cherry tree is covered with cherries. I’m going to have to figure out a way of netting it so I get some.
The grass had gotten shin high in places and looked so nice and lush and green once mowed.
I was really tired and didn’t get much else done but read until bedtime.
On Monday I have laundry to do, the kitchen to clean up, and I’m hoping to get out and finish that new South garden and get it planted. In the afternoon I have an event at the Senior Center.
