The above is the first green pepper I have ever grown and as you can see in the next photo there are many blooms for hopefully a good harvest.
My last batch of carrots were not this big and I did better thinning out the plants in the early stages of growth.
Though some I obviously missed as you can see by their size in my hand.
The containers I use for carrots are approximately two foot by one foot and about 10 inches deep of soil with about half the soil consisting of sand.
I have plenty of space for container gardening as you can see my space in front of my home.
Roscoe helps guard the plants from the local birds that look for nibbles throughout the day.
We even have room for expansion here but with a goal of returning to Nicaragua we will just make due with what we got or maybe add some recycling material as hanging container like for these cucumbers.
I figure as it grows I will use the space on the roof above my work area to let the cucumbers grow with more area and hours of sun time.
