Today is
a rewarding day on the farm as I harvested some beautiful onion straight from the soil. There’s nothing quite like the feeling of pulling your own food from the ground—fresh, natural, and grown with care.
As you can see, some of the bulbs came out perfectly round and healthy, while others show signs of stress. This is part of farming—every harvest teaches a lesson.
🌿 What I Observed
Some onions developed well with strong bulbs
A few showed uneven growth and discoloration
Soil moisture and spacing clearly played a big role
Farming is not just about planting—it's about learning, adjusting, and improving every season.
đź’ˇ Lessons from This Harvest
Proper spacing helps bulbs expand fully
Balanced watering is key (too much or too little affects growth)
Healthy soil = healthy crops
🌍 Why This Matters
Growing your own food, even on a small scale, promotes food security, reduces costs, and ensures you eat fresh and chemical-free produce.
🙌 Final Thoughts
Every harvest tells a story. Some onions came out perfect, others remind me there’s always room to improve. And that’s the beauty of farming—it’s a continuous journey of growth.
