Of the challenges the tree has faced in producing its first fruits, two have been the most difficult; One problem is that its roots are shallow, which means that any strong wind or rain could cause it to fall, damaging not only the plant but also the fence that divides the two properties. At the same time, one side of the fence has been drying out, while the other side is full of fruit.
