He has two trees nearby, but they've grown quite large, and the lower branches have hardly any fruit. Instead, the fruit is high up, so you have to climb them to avoid breaking the fruit when it falls, as they are quite fragile and mostly waterlogged. Even so, I managed to find some that had already fallen and even enjoy one before taking the rest home.
Another detail that caught my attention is the large number of small plants surrounding the others. I imagine these are the ones that have fallen over the years and are now so large, while others are just starting to grow. I don't know, but I think most of them could be taken to a nursery to see if someone else might enjoy having them in their own home, because fresh fruit is always important.
