Blessings to all my Hive friends! I'm grateful for this new post here in the #hivegarden community, where I'm sharing some photos from my grandmother's house. My aunt was shelling some beans she'd been given a few days ago and drying them so they would be easier to remove.
So, when I went downstairs to water my plants, I found her sitting there, sort of picking through the beans that didn't look very good, removing the bad ones and trying to keep only the good ones to cook with, maybe this week.
I asked her if she could give me some beans so I could plant some myself. Why not have my own harvest? That would be great, since a kilo costs almost $5, and beans are one of our favorite foods because they go with almost everything, especially in a soup with vegetables.
