It's worth noting that the first thing you see when you walk in are two yucca plants, which are just starting to grow. They have a long way to go before they'll produce a harvest like the ones I'll show you in the next paragraph. One thing that caught my eye is the vibrant green color of their leaves, especially those just emerging at the top.
As I mentioned before, most of the banana plants there are already bearing fruit, and the harvest is excellent, as you can see in the photos. This is because there are two very different kinds: one that we can enjoy as a snack (first photo), and the other that, when ripe or even green, is an ideal accompaniment to our meals (second photo). It's great, friends, to be able to harvest food that we'll later consume so fresh and without chemical additives.
Also, although it's not hers, there's a passion fruit plant in a corner of her house, but it's mostly growing on her side. I asked her if any of the fruit had fallen on her side, and she said yes, but that she'd make juice for it. As you can see in the photos, the plant is quite overgrown, but that's better, as it could be a good sign that we'll have fresh fruit soon.
So I say goodbye, but not before thanking nature for all the blessings it offers to those of us who appreciate the importance of having the good fortune to grow some of the food we eat every day at home.
