Since I have some free time (I'm currently unemployed), I'm doing some agricultural activities, specifically planting new plants. Taking advantage of the fact that I had some sweet pepper plants, I decided to plant them in a spot at my grandmother's house where I thought the soil would be softer, but I was wrong; it was completely dry.
This is where the papaya plants I showed you earlier are, as well as some corn that my aunt planted a while ago but hasn't grown enough. Nearby, I dug six holes and planted them, and I still have some left to plant where they were (the seedbed).
Since I started rather late, after 6 PM, it was quite dark. I planted them and then got a bucket of water to water them.
After that, and carefully observing the soil, I'll have to wait for the plants to take root before I can clean up and remove the weeds.
To conclude my post here in the #hivegarden community, I'm showing you a whole ear of corn that I have drying completely so that I can shell it soon and plant it as soon as I prepare the land.
