Happy start to the week to all my Hive friends! Since some lemon seeds have already started to germinate, I'm going to share them in my post for the #HiveGarden community. For those who love agriculture and nature, it's fantastic to be able to share photos so you can see the process and how much longer it will take to see the fruits of your labor, so patience is key.
I don't know exactly what kind of lemons they are, but they were given to my mom. They're larger than the traditional ones, so I thought, why not save some seeds when they're ready to be squeezed, dry them, and then make a sort of seedbed to try and grow one or more plants at home? You can never have too many, and they taste great!
To test it out, my mom had a plastic cup with a plant near the kitchen, so I put some seeds in it to see if they would germinate. Luckily, they did! Since they're all close together, I'll have to find another spot for them to continue developing and then move them to their final location where they'll be transplanted.
