Would it be great if it rained in June? That's a sentence I'm thinking right now. I just planted lettuce that finally went into the hydroponic box, then the rain came again without telling me first. Even though all day the sun looked very happy, emitting its light until it entered the main layer of soil.
Less than 10 minutes after I put the lettuce that had just been sown, the rain fell. Very heavy but not with wind, I thought if there was wind then a storm could come. With a simple umbrella, I pulled a very large container, then tried to collect rainwater.
This is a technique, where I use rainwater to fill my hydroponic box. The nutrients in rainwater are very good when mixed with AB Mix for hydroponic fertilizer. For a moment it seemed like my work increased because I had to open the container from its place.
Previously, I planted kale and it was almost ready to be harvested this week. The kale looks very good at the moment, it could be the best quality kale in June. I think in 3 days it will all turn into lettuce. But I'm still worried because it's starting to rain more than in the summer.
The same goes for mint leaves, last month I still remember the renovation of the hydroponic pipes which was very messy. Replacing all the mint shoots with new ones, there were no leaves that could even be harvested, but now like magic, they grow very well, even the leaves are very wide and look fresh.
So, no need to plant from scratch, you only need a few fresh stems and grow roots. That's one of the best ways to plant mint leaves. Especially in the rainy season, the leaves will continue to grow well. Later, they can be soaked in warm water as a drink that can maintain the body's immune system during the transitional season.
I'm still worried about the rain in June. Hopefully it won't be too heavy and the sun will still shine brightly for at least 5 hours a day. If it's the rainy season, sometimes the sun is reluctant to appear.
Not only that, it turns out that one of my tomato plants can still bear fruit even though it's almost dead. Remember my tomatoes last month that grew very well, but within a week they looked like they were going to die, marked by the leaves starting to burn out one by one.
A sign that I probably have to replace the tomato plant from the beginning again. Next July I think I will be busy with tomatoes again.
Call me Isdarmady, sometimes Mady, Putra or anything you want. I have a pretty long name but call me very nicely. There are many things I like, especially hydroponics and coffee, sometimes I also like traveling and eating whatever I want. Life should be like that, there must be many things you like so you can live well. Of course, what you want is a dream, so, when you have a dream then what you have to do is to achieve that dream, don't just let it be a dream.
There are many things I tell on my Blog, I hope you like it. Never hesitate to leave a comment, because your comments mean so much to keep me moving forward.
