I doing a lot of things in my hydroponic garden everyday, no absen at all.. its like including planting water spinach (my last post), but there not a single movement this week. Water spinach have a unique teenage phase, which I call it that because it's like most teenagers (it's too fussy and needs proper care).
The main focus is indeed the water spinach, but... there is no day to lazy around in the garden, right? There's always something going on and on. Even weeding, dry leaves, throwing out trash, and watering the plants in the morning or evening. But this little things are healing if we have a passion for them.
Well, because I don't want to waste time. Almost every plant in this garden has its own value, even monetary value, and money, just like capitalism, costs money to run the garden. We need money to keep everything running. We have to buy fertilizer, pay the water bill, and so on.
So, it's time for me to replant the mint... for what? To sell the leaves. You know, mint is one of my best-selling garden products. Economically, it contributes almost 30% of the yield. Mint is very easy to grow and plant, but unfortunately, fresh mint is very difficult to find in this town.
I usually take stem cuttings by cutting a good stem and then soaking one end of the small stem in water until roots gradually grow. This takes about 3-7 days. Then, it's great to stick it in leftover rockwool. So, I use the leftover rockwool for mint. It's like a low-capital investment with the highest possible returns, isn't it?
Wait, you can see the picture above, in addition to that will be planting hydroponically, I also graftin mint cuttings to prepare them as potential mint seedling in soil on little pot. The planting medium uses soil from a cassava plantation that which I purchase by the truckload. I'll probably update this post on how I obtained it from a farmer.

Life should be like that, there must be many things you like so you can live well.
