Warm greetings to everyone here in Hive! I’m happy to share another little story today.
I just want to share something simple yet beautiful that I noticed during our short trip to the beach. Sometimes, it’s amazing how nature can surprise me in small ways, even through the plants I see along the way.
While my husband was talking to the staff, I started to look around and take some photos of the view. There were so many plants around the area, all green and healthy. One plant caught my attention the Golden Crinum Plant. It was lined up beautifully near the pathway. It looked so elegant, with long leaves that were a mix of green and golden yellow. I didn’t see any other plants flowering, but this one was already amazing to look at.
As I walked around looking at the plants, my son Carlo called me. I showed him the view through a video call, and he said the place looked really beautiful. He told me that he often sees plants like those at the beach, especially growing well under the trees. He remembered that when he and his classmates went swimming last month, he also noticed many of the same plants at the resort they visited. Hearing Carlo say that made me smile it’s nice that he notices nature too.
I became curious about why the Golden Crinum grows so well near beaches. Maybe it loves the sunlight and the salty air, or perhaps it’s one of those plants that can survive both hot and rainy days.
My husband told me that it has always been his dream to have a small house near the sea. For him, it feels peaceful and relaxing just imagining the sound of the waves while resting. He said it would be wonderful to sit by the house surrounded by many plants, especially in the morning and evening, just enjoying the view quietly.
Plants like these are truly amazing. I think that’s why resorts and beaches love to have them. They don’t just add color they also make the place feel peaceful and relaxing. When the wind blows, the long leaves sway gently.
The palm trees at the beach looked so beautiful. They were small and neatly shaped, almost like bonsai versions of the tall palm trees I usually see. I told my husband that I really admired how the resort kept the area so clean. You could tell they put effort into maintaining the surroundings, not just for appearance but also to make visitors feel close to nature. I said to him that I wanted to come back here again because the place felt peaceful and refreshing, a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the beauty of the sea.
Even ordinary plants can make a difference. They especially help when we feel stressed. Just spending a little time by the sea can have a big impact on our lives. Simply looking at nature can refresh our minds and change the way we think. That’s what I always seek, especially after a long, tiring day of work.
