Hello dear friends, good day or good evening wherever we are right now.
My vlog today is just a small update about daily life on the farm and how to take care of plants. I know many of us can relate, but each of us has our own ideas or ways. So I just want to share a little story, maybe it can also inspire you.
The first step is to clean the soil. Remove the weeds or plow it well. After it is clean the soil is ready. Our farm has a nice view. From here you can see the other town, with only a river in between. The river has running water and many fish. Sometimes when there is no work, they go down to the river to catch fish.
After they are planted and the leaves grow well, fertilizer is added so they become strong and give many harvests. Then they are sprayed to protect them from insects, because worms might eat the leaves and they will not give good fruits.
The next step is to put sticks beside the plants so nylon can be tied, and they will stay strong and not fall down easily. This is the spacing for putting the sticks, not too near but with some distance.
After that, the sticks are hammered one by one into the soil so they will be firm and strong. This way, when the nylon is tied it will be tight and easy to pull. That is how the sticks and nylon are placed.
Every day is a new challenge on the farm. Today I will show you the chili plants.
At this stage, He tie each plant to the nylon so the plants will be strong and will not fall down. This is part of the life of farmers and I am already used to doing this work.
As my sibling says, we must continue to work and not give up. Farming takes time, it is not an instant blessing. You cannot expect that if you plant today, tomorrow you can already harvest. It always needs hard work and patience before the fruits of labor will come.
This is how it is. Those are my siblings, they are taking a rest. When tired, they can rest but should not give up. You can see how they work on the farm, it is not easy. so we need to appreciate every blessing small or big, because all of it comes from hard work. Even if we are not in the same situation, we should still value what we have.
In my next vlog I will show you the corn that is almost ready to harvest. Thank you again, this is the end of my story. Take care and God bless us all.
Note: All the pictures are mine, taken using my cellphone.
