Hi Hive Lovers
There are many miracles provided by nature, especially in the tropics. There are many kinds of fruits available here, one of which is rambutan.
For those of you who have never been to the tropics or have never eaten this fruit, then some of my photos below will answer your curiosity about this fruit.
I have taken several photos of the rambutan fruit from various angles to make it easier for you to see it.
Wikipediagives the scientific name for this rambutan fruit as Sapindaceae, and rambutan fruit is a typical tropical plant.
The rambutan fruit has a unique fruit skin, namely the fruit skin that resembles hair. If you bite the fruit skin and fruit hair, it will taste astringent and slightly bitter. Although people often bite the skin of the fruit to enjoy the flesh, you should open it with your hands to open the skin of the fruit.
The color of the fruit is green when it is young and will gradually turn yellow and red when it is ripe. When the rambutan fruit is ripe, the flesh will taste very sweet and crunchy. Very appropriate if you enjoy it in the middle of a hot day.
If it is too ripe, the rambutan fruit will be watery and will feel sticky to your hands. You need to wash your hands if you hold it directly with your hands. People who like the dry flesh of the rambutan fruit will start harvesting them when they are still yellow, and those who like the juicy flesh will harvest them when the color of the fruit is completely red.
I got this rambutan from a kind friend who has several trees in his yard. Right now, his rambutan tree is bearing fruit, and he has brought it to my place of work. He is a very good friend; every time he harvests a fruit tree, he always brings it to me.
