I started planting Chayote last year in November, I first grew indoors until it sprouted and was ready to move to a larger area.
Growing Chayote has not been easy for me. My first trial of planting Chayote was not successful. Until I researched how to start and take care of Chayote. And this is what happened and it turned out well.
Chayote should be in the moderate cold season so that it can grow immediately and make sure that the soil is rich in vitamins such as Calcium and Potassium especially when it is already flowering. It also requires constantly moistening the soil.
The String Beans
At the same time as I was planting Chayote I was planting String beans. String Beans or known as "SITAW" in the Philippines are easy to live and grow as long as they are close to water irrigation or keep watering the plant daily depending on the weather if it's hot or cold.
Thanks to the Lord and this day it continues to bear fruit. The only crop I don't have right now is chili. I will try to plant chili after I harvest the sweet potatoes.
The remaining Pumpkin
I don’t expect my pumpkin plant to continue to bloom and bear fruit after I get all of its fruit and cut off some of its branches. However, I am happy with what happened and I will show you all the results in the coming days.
The fruit is so beautiful! Smooth and healthy! I counted how many altogether, and it reached 6 pieces! I just hope no one steals it again.
Tomato
There were only four of these tomatoes and I made sure the soil was healthy. Because 4 tomatoes are together in a small rectangle with bricks around it.
In the next few days, I will also show you what it looks like today.
