Jewelweed
Jewelweed is a robust species commonly found in bottomland soils, ditches, and along creeks.
Orange jewelweed, also known as common jewelweed or spotted jewelweed, is an annual plant native to North America and belongs to the family Balsaminaceae.
The stems, leaves, flowers, and seeds of this plant are edible. Some people use them to make soap, balm, and other products. I even have some tea made from its flowers. It's good for maintaining skin conditions.
The seeds have a delightfully nutty taste and add a fun element to hiking, as they pop when you reach for them.
Jewelweed is abundant near a small creek, and it looks very beautiful and fresh.
Be careful when collecting seeds; they can pop and disappear on their own. You'll need to use both hands to avoid dropping them. They taste quite delicious, similar to pistachios.

ジュエルウィード
川沿いの低地や溝、小川の周りなどに生えている頑丈なジュエルウィードは、北アメリカに生息しているツリフネソウ科に属する草花です。
茎、葉っぱ、花や種は食用です。石鹸やパパをバームなどを作る人もいます。わたしはお茶を飲みます。肌の調子を整える効能があるそうです。
種を取ろうとすると、勝手に飛び出しますのでハイキングをしながら種取りをすると、とても楽しいのではないかと思います。
ジュエルウィードがそこら中に生えています。きれいで新鮮な草花です。
種をとる時は気をつけて！手を近づけると飛び跳ねて種が出てきて飛んでいってしまうので、両手を使って落とさないようにとってください。味はピスタチオのようでおいしいです。
