Hello to all gardeners in@hivegarden community.Let me take you to one of my exciting gardening activity today.I've decided to plant my own moringa tree at home for I realized that this kind of plant is very beneficial and aside from that I usually asked from my neighbors to give to me the leaves for Ill be using it in my daily cooking.
Just this morning when I woke up,when I visited the front area of my house where the pots where in, I find happiness and joy looking at the lively, sprouting leaves of my moringa plant ☘️ I will show you a little progress of my moringa blooms from Seed to Sprout.
There were many unused pots here at home so what I did was used this.
I decided to plant some moringa at home because I find this plant very helpful in ones health both adult and children.
Here are the progress in my how many days of planting the moringa.
I don't have another type of soil in planting the moringa, so what's only available here in my place was only this.
Im happy that in a 3 days of observing the seeds it started to sprout. 🌱
I'm planting the seeds directly to the soil for just about one inch deep. Each seeds had a little distance.
On the fifth day I saw so much progress on my moringa I planted.Theyre growing so much.It only means that they're in their right location. This kind of plant loved to be exposed in a warm areas. And it's perfect in my area where the temperature is not so hot and not too cold. They must be placed in a dry areas, to avoid waterlogged.
And on the next they're growing rapidly, the leaves were slowly growing and it's ready to be transplanted to another pots.
And on the 8th day my husband started to transfer it to empty pots.
The moringa plant was now being placed where they're be directed under the sunlight. They need full sun exposure for a healthy growing leaves of the moringa.
I watered this plant lightly but regularly during its first 2 months because it need some proper care,so once established, this plant moringa can now withstand with the drought and can only be watered in a minimal amount.
I placed all my leftover ripened bananas in the pots.I used this as a natural fertilizer of my plants.
On the other pots I placed animal manures as a natural fertilizer also. This plants moringa will grow well with organic fertilizer or manure.I'll just have to wait for some time as to when this will grow more leaves so that it will be trimmed off once its stem/Bush grow harder. It needs a regular maintenance once it grows to become a branches, regular pruning should be done in it so that a continuous leaves of the moringa will continue to grow and grow.
I'll update you next week for the progress of my moringa plants.. Hopefully it will grow more leaves everyday.
