I assume it was just too late for me to find out about this week's garden prompt until I realized that invited me to this challenge.
Today I decide to choose this Prompt 2: My biggest garden disaster.I choose this its because I also believe that I'm currently facing this problem in the garden before from chickens and stray cows or even neighbors' cows who did mind if they tied there cow properly away from our plants and now it’s getting worse.
A few weeks ago I shared my garden update in July and just this week Father made better improvements while I’m away in the garden.
He trims the overlapping lemongrass, removes the weeds, transplanted baby bananas around the house and relocate the water spinach
This was the third time replacement for father’s dwarf coconut. Cow owner tied their cows for grass to eat but did not consider that it may reach the coconut.
Now my father is back into gardening because he is not busy working on something. We even planned to plow the rice field again since the water barriers in our neighboring pond are being fixed which was the most disastrous thing that happened during the typhoon Odette. But our everyday problem now is our neighbor's ducks. Before only chickens and cow are my enemies in gardening but now here are the ducks. They only had one pair of ducks before but as days go by it multiplied. And to add up there are two additional baby ostrich that Father raises now that was given
by his friend😭.
Just recently I bought a bundle of string onions for the additional remember of the garden. I confidently planted it even with ducks present and not thinking about the consequences but the following morning when I look back on this is what they done with my newly planted spring onion. Some are already missing so I talked to father for what happened so he spoke to the ducks owner and since it’s elderly its very hard to let her understand the situation and he even talked to her before for other plant reason that why you notice a green screen that’s father made to protect the newly planted string and even built a fence.
And we know we can’t please everybody so father just decide to adjust.
Now he put some stick for additional protection and will just check on time to time to protect them. I don't know yet what other creativity he made with our garden this time and let's see next week if is something new.
Thank you for the invite and this is my response to this weekly #creativegarden challenge.
