Time spend so fast it's just recently that when I was able to share my garden update this summer season with you guys and only three weeks later, nature gave me back some beautiful things already.
Isn't it amazing?
Right now I'm so lucky to finally got a job already and even though I stay away from home for work I'm making sure to update hubby back home if how was my garden going. Because of this, he insists on watering them every other day because I am annoying him to do so.
Despite his busy life also taking care of the kids and some of our farm animals I'm happy to see that he managed to take good care of my garden as well. So today I'm delighted to share with you a few harvests and the progress of my garden even in this very hot weather in the Philippines.
When I'm home I use to cook good food to serve and since my pechay (snow cabbage) is in a good size to harvest already I decided to buy pork meat for our lunch. See how healthy it is. I only use organic fertilizer for that. I hope that the next batch of my snow cabbage will also grow well like this.
This is their new update. If you know me, I'm messy sometimes when I garden. There are times when I'm too lazy to look for a good soil medium, so when I want something new to be planted, I simply put it on the edge of another crop ๐คญ.
So now it seems like they fighting for the space in one pot. The one on the left is passion fruit it's one of the new ones I will take care of, it's my first time trying it and I know it needs a big space because it crawls. And on the top right are bell peppers and on the bottom are tomatoes. I already transferred some of the tomatoes and bell peppers to the ground others I will just let them stay there for a few weeks after I come back and have the time to relocate them.
Even though the weather is extremely hot, thank God, my moringa plants are growing well, there are three more of them with a bunch of branches and leaves already. Hopefully, when I return I can finally make soup from it. At the bottom, you can also see my healthy water spinach and some other vegetables there.
This is just one of my okras with a flower blooming that morning they are so beautiful and they are double-purpose in my garden.
I have also picked the first fruit of my okras, there is a saying that it is not good to let the first fruit mature in the tree because it is said to cause the early death of the trees in the future.
Chilies are all turned red now I guess it is already the end of their life so I make you're I already set aside some of their seed so I would not lose their variety.
I also transferred a few eggplants to the ground but I was not able to take photos. They are thriving well so I'm excited to share them with you soon.
So far so good in this summer season. Let's see how it goes next month when I believe it will be hotter and hotter then.
Thank you for visiting. I appreciate it so much. Happy Gardening ๐งก๐๐
