Hello Hivers, today I will talk about the new plant in the garden, colloquially known as mother-in-law's tongue, it has the scientific name "Sansevieria trifasciata" from the "Liliaceae" family, it is a plant for decorative use, some time ago it was recommended to me because it is good cleaning the air in the home, and according to NASA its leaves are capable of absorbing toxins such as nitrogen oxide, benzene, formaldehyde, xylene and trichloroethylene.
A curious fact is that it is colloquially called the mother-in-law's tongue in the form of a mockery, since due to its elongated blade it is compared to mothers-in-law who criticize their children's partners.
As you can see in the photos, my little plant is small, its tips are a little damaged, it should have pointed tips, but it is never too late to take care of it and recover it so that its leaves grow tall, strong and beautiful. This plant is quite versatile, it can be placed both indoors and outdoors, in my house I will place it outside, I just haven't decided yet whether to place it next to the other plants in the garden or next to the front door.
Regarding care, it is always recommended to have it in a place where it gets sunlight, since this helps it grow new stems, and also maintain its beautiful appearance, in addition to being careful that the pot has drainage and its soil do not have excess of water.
Lastly, I would like to tell you that while I was planting it, I began to reflect on how we in life are plants that need care. This arose because my plant is a bit weak and damaged at its tips; For me, the only difference between the plants and us is that we take care of them and we ourselves have to take care of ourselves, and although it sounds a bit confusing, it is like that, spending time and repairing ourselves to be able to flourish one day is something that we must do be aware.
Like plants we must take care of ourselves for one day to flourish.

Hola Hivers, hoy les hablare sobre la nueva plantita del jardín, coloquialmente conocida como lengua de suegra, tiene por nombre científico "Sansevieria trifasciata" de la familia "Liliáceas" es una planta de uso decorativo, hace un tiempo me la recomendaron por ser buena limpiando el aire del hogar, y según la NASA sus hojas son capaces de absorber las toxinas como el óxido de nitrógeno, benceno, formaldehído, xileno y tricloroetileno.
Un dato curioso es que coloquialmente se le llama lengua de suegra en forma de burla, ya que por su hoja alargada se le compara con las suegras que critican a las parejas de sus hijos.
Como se ve en las fotos mi plantita es pequeña, esta un poco dañada en sus puntas, esta debería tener sus punta puntiagudas, pero nunca es tarde para cuidarla y recuperarla para que sus hojas crezcan altas, fuertes y bonitas. Esta planta es bastante versátil, se puede colocar tanto en interiores con exteriores de la casa, en mi casa la colocare afuera, solo que todavía no me decido si colocarla al lado de las otras plantas del jardín o al lado de la puerta de entrada.
Con respecto a los cuidados siempre se recomienda tenerla en un sitio donde le de la luz del sol, ya que esto le ayuda a crear tallos nuevos, y también mantener su bella aparienci, ademas tener cuidado con que el matero tenga un drenaje y su tierra no tenga exceso de agua.
Por últimos les comento que mientras la plantaba comencé a reflexionar sobre como nosotros en la vida somos una planta que necesita cuidados, esto surgió porque mi planta esta un poco débil y dañada en sus puntas; Para mi la única diferencia entre las plantas y nosotros es que nosotros cuidamos de ella y nosotros mismos tenemos que cuidar de nosotros, y aunque suene un poco enredado es así, el dedicarnos tiempo y repararnos para poder florecer un da es algo de lo que debemos ser conscientes.
Como las plantas debemos cuidarnos para un dia florecer.
