Friends, it's been a long time since I've uploaded content in this community, but today I'm very excited because a couple of weeks ago I did an experiment and it seems to be working. I have always loved garlic, and therefore I wanted to plant it at home in a completely organic way, so I started to do a lot of research and finally decided to plant a couple of cloves of garlic, at first I thought it would not work, every time I checked the pot everything looked the same, then I lost interest and did not even check it again, but yesterday I got curious and I was surprised to find some big shoots.
First, following the instructions I made a hole in the soil with my index finger, the hole is not too deep, as the garlic should not be buried completely, it is important that it protrudes a little.
I made two holes and then put the garlic cloves in the holes, taking care that they protrude a little, as this is vital for the birth of future shoots.
I knew I should wait about two weeks or so, however, the first five days I saw no change, not even little sprouts, nothing, so I lost interest completely. However, after some rains and after two weeks I decided to check the pot, where I also had a small oregano plant, and I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the garlic had sprouted.
The buds are really big and that makes me very happy, I am really anxious to harvest them, but according to what I have been reading, I will only be able to harvest them after about seven months.
I will be keeping a close eye on my garlic and will bring the details to you, keep your fingers crossed and let's hope we have a good and well-deserved harvest. Thank you very much for reading my post, I wish you a wonderful day.
