Not officially named Part I, This Post was my first report since the green plants appeared in their baby form above the ground.
Three days later, I checked on and photographed the progress they are making.
The new state of the Chocolate Box Sample, which is actually the Inside-The-Room Sample, can be observed on the images above and the right parts of the diptych images below. From "furry" little creatures to taller, slim plants with some green where the shell of the seed fell of/was absorbed/was magically disintegrated or something.
More seedlings coming above ground. At some point they might be too many...Well, at some point even on plant will be too many, of course, but before that...I hope the stems become tough and resilient, so that I can transplant them into their own pots...and eventually...garden territory.
At this point, having any seedlings at all should be considered a success after last year's total failure to produce anything from those seeds.
I wonder if I should get the On-The-Balcony Sample inside the room, too. But if I do, that means it becomes an Inside-The_Room Sample and is virtually destroyed as an On-Balcony Sample. The experiment would fail. But that might be a matter of life or death for the seeds.
Still, I think getting to know if they would develop under such conditions, albeit with a delay of one to three weeks, is still important for my future plans.
Plants.
Plant plans.
Well, even if the Inside-The-Room Sample turns out to be the only surviving bunch of lavender seeds, that might still turn into more than ten bushes. If everything catches when transplanted, though, Who knows?
Time knows best.
Peace and Parsley!
