To tylko pozory, bo musiało upłynąć jeszcze kilka miesięcy, zanim roślina pokazała swoje przepiękne kwiaty. Jednak nie wszystkie krzewy się ukwieciły. Prawdopodobnie uwarunkowane to jest okresem w jakim były posadzone.

Rododendrony z powodzeniem uprawiane są w ogrodach na całym świecie. Oprócz tego, że są wytrzymałe na mrozy mogą pochwalić się kwiatami o wielu kolorach. Od białych, poprzez kremowe, różowe, po fioletowe i czerwone, czy wpadające w żółtawy odcień.
