Hello everyone, it's me again to give you an update on my gardening this year. Last time I prepared the soil for planting, I made sure to let it dry to kill any weeds, because if I planted then, those weeds would grow.
I prepared the soil for almost a week, and I was hesitant about whether to continue because the weather was getting cold and I was getting lazy. But since I'd already started, I wanted to continue. Today, I planted seeds for two plots of water spinach and one plot of kale. These are Thai vegetables. A few days ago, I tilled the soil to make it more compact before planting the seeds, but I'm not sure if they'll sprout.
After this, I'll be away for about a month, so I've asked my dad to look after the vegetable plots for me, watering them every other day. Besides the two vegetable plots, I also planted seeds of chili peppers, coriander, and Thai basil on the sides. I'm hoping they'll sprout. This time, I planted them rather spontaneously, but since I got the seeds, I wanted to plant them all. If they sprout, I'll be happy; if not, it'll be okay.
The Italian summer is very long, so if the vegetables don't sprout in time, or if they do sprout, it will be a problem. The weather was too cold. However, I'm counting on this and hoping the seeds I planted will sprout. After planting, I lightly covered the soil and then watered the vegetables.
According to the instructions, these vegetables should yield produce in about a month, but I'm not sure if these will. We'll have to wait and see. Anyway, please cheer me on! I hope everyone enjoys my post. Thank you for following and have a great day!
