I love it when there are lots of interesting gardening and homesteading posts to choose from. My only problem is not knowing where to start. However, I was sure I had to share this one from
, because while it's just a simple harvesting post the photos show an amazing dragon fruit plant growing and producing lots of fruit in a situation I've never seen before. It's giving me ideas for my own plants which I've yet to get to fruiting point.
I'll be honest, when I saw the title of
's post I thought he was just going to be complaining about birds, but we actually got a little tour of his garden, partially with a rooftop view.
If I took you on a stroll through my garden it would be an overgrown mass of brown and green and lush wouldn't be a word that sprung to mind. However, when

I find orchids rather fascinating, although I'm not sure I could ever grow them myself. For the region I live in, they would need to be kept indoors due to being incompatible with the climate here. So I was drawn to
's on an orchid collection in the garden. How amazing it must be to come across these beautiful flowers as you wander through your garden.
