Greetings to all the hives garden lovers who are part of this beautiful community , I will share with you the negative side of my garden; but also the positive side of it, I took as an example a little plant that I was given as a gift called Sangría.
I have a neighbor who has a bush type plant called Sangría, every time I need to take it, I go and ask her to please give me some leaves, once I told her that I would like to have one in my garden because it is necessary at some point in life, one day she surprised me as a little plant that I had lost for me.
I was very excited and I planted it in my garden, it was growing beautifully, now we are in the rainy season and we have a terrible plague such as plant killer snails, I call them that way, and in times of rain they come out everywhere. What I never imagined that after a while the plant began to dry the leaves, because I did not stop then, to my surprise all the leaves fell off and I only had the dry stem, at that moment I was saddened.
But I left the stems and I did not take it out, the ground has become hostile because of this snail plague who ate this plant, but the most surprising thing of all is that after a while I thought it was lost; but what it is to face adversity and not give up, fight and win, my little plant returned to sprout and survived the attacks of this enemy. It is more beautiful than ever, this time I am going to put some insecticide or repellent that will not allow them to get close to it again.
The funniest thing of all, I look for suggestions everywhere to eliminate this plague being totally impossible, I remember that I read on the internet that eggshells keep them away, I was saving shells until I had a quantity more or less, then I crumble them almost dust, and I watered them in part of the garden where they protect from the sun and heat, Everything was going very well, suddenly the shells began to disappear, I did not understand why, one morning I went out to my usual tour of the garden, to my surprise the birds were eating them, what bad luck this did not work either, I hope that my plant of Sangría, can survive in this hostile terrain.
I hope you like my creative reading, thanks for your support, photos of my property, the translator I used is Deepl, blessings to all.
