Here's some of our grapes that luckily survived a recent storm. We have two areas with grapes and also two kinds - purple and white grapes. Still waiting to see how they will turn out when they hit the ripe stage, so far they look good!
Blackberries are here! These past few days have been busy so I kin of forgot to check on them and today I finally had some time to harvest the ripe blackberries and raspberries. We should do this every two days to get the most out of them and not let them get overripe.
To my luck, cherry tomatoes recovered after a little bit of a rough start this season! These are some of my favorite things we grow in the garden so I am trying to enjoy them as much as I can meaning I eat them pretty much every day at this point, lol.
Cabbage is doing well and there is an obvious difference between the ones that we planted earlier (top right side of the photo) and the rest. Pre-planting cabbage is definitely the best way to go from our personal experience, the guarantee it will do well is much higher.
We used this mesh net kind of thing to cover some of the tomatoes but the storm completely took it of and to my surprise strong wind didn't blow it away and it was still left in a decent condition so we'll try to use it again.
These are some spicy peppers that we are having an abundance of. They are still green but still hot as I've heard from my family members - my tolerance for spicy food is very low so I don't even want to take the risk.
Recently my mom made lunch for the entire family where she used some of the yellow bell peppers to made stuffed peppers with grounded meat and it was so good!
Finally, here's our small harvest of the day. Blackberries and raspberries are going to be stored in the freezer and cherry tomatoes are ready to be eaten (by me), haha.
