This is how the growth process of the orchid begins
I never thought of living in an apartment, but it turns out that I have had to do it and as I like plants and flowers it has cost me a little to have them on the balcony, because it is not the same to have plants planted directly in the ground than in pots or pots in apartments or apartments as they are called in other countries.
After two days you can see how it is evolving a little bit more
For me it has been difficult, but not impossible, so I was given a very small natural national flower of my country, at first I thought it was not going to grow or that I was not going to give it to me. I took it to my apartment, kind of spoiled, chiquitica, and believe it or not, I got it. Whenever it is going to bloom I always take a picture of it from the beginning to know how long it takes for the flower to come out. I always do that, it is like to know how long it takes to come out one period from the other.
After two more days...you already have this beautiful flower completely...Look how beautiful it is.
I have other plants at home, I think I already made a post about them. I take too much care of them, I prune them, I remove the excess branches and everyone who visits me in my apartment is delighted with them. The medicinal ones are also spoiled because when I have felt unhealthy I have used them as infusions like the Vick vaporub plant and yerba buena.
A picture a little closer, so you can admire it better.
Finally I understood that it is not so difficult to have plants in the apartments if you propose it and if you love them logically. For me it is a blessing to have them, I like to see them grow, bloom and give an atmosphere of joy and splendor to every home. It is also important to teach our children to take care of the plants so that they become familiar with them in terms of their care, so that when we are not there they can water, take care of them and clean them.
I also have lilies
The orchid belongs to the most extensive family of the plant kingdom, which includes some 30 thousand species distributed in about 800 genera, most of which are native to South America. Most of the genera have a similar structure composed of three elongated sepals at the back and three wider petals at the front. The lower petal is larger than the two lateral petals and is modified in the form of a lip, which is why it is also called a labellum. Usually, the labellum has dots and spots of various colors, which makes it stand out even more to the eye.
Vick-vaporub plant
I have one of these species in my house and I am very happy because it is the National Flower of my country. The color of its petals ranges from light violet to lilac, while in the inner part of the labellum there is a yellow coloring streaked with intense violet spots. The Cattleya's labellum stands out for its wavy lines that simulate the turgid shape of a woman's body, which is why it is considered the symbol of femininity and beauty in Venezuela.
Yerba buena and Oreganon
I hope you liked my family of plants hehe and flowers. As you can see I have them well cared for. One more proof that you can have plants planted in pots or "porrones" as we say here in my beautiful Venezuela.
Greetings and many blessings
