We moved in here 10 months ago and our babies are coming on strong.
We have a small courtyard, with not much space, but the flowers and plants make it a nice place to sit in and relax.
My wife knows the names of the plants and I have to be honest that I only know the names of a few. My interest is pure nature, and my wife is the gardener. Not that I am ignorant, but I would rather say that I am forgetful, as some friends and my wife have told me their names before.
Maybe some experts in this community would like to identify the plants?
This one below I know very well as it is a lemon tree. It was here when we moved in and it was in sad state, so I pruned it and added some fertilizer to the soil. Under the watchful eye of my wife of course.
And this is its first litter. The lemon at the left was bought from a shop and the pumpkin sized one at the right is from our lemon tree.
This one I also know as it is a Eucarist something, but I know it well as it has a most beautiful 24 hour flower, that blooms for only one day.
And here's some more of them with their babies.
One cannot tackle this round ball without gloves, as it is a very pricky fellow.
Finally, I call this below the snake cactus and at the left you can see that it also had babies.
Okay, I know that I am a total novice and to soften the expected critics I added some humor, as life is very serious lately. But in my defense I can say that I really love my wife's flowers, as they make me feel at home. Even if I don't know their names. First time also that I saw that a person can talk to plants, and I simply don't know what to say to them. But it seems to keep them happy and if they are happy then I am happy.
I hope that you have enjoyed the story and the pictures.
