Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all are doing well. I simply wanted to share this with you, however many of you will misinterpret these for garlic scapes instead of garlic leaves. I hope you continue to like this article. Sorry for the mix-up, I was simply too pleased to discover something blooming in my kitchen window not to share it.
While there are many resources available to teach you how to grow your own garlic, this post is for beginners who want to always be growers like me, as well as people who don't have a garden and want something fresh and green to grow in their kitchen. I started to try first in a plastic cups.
Materials needed:
• A small, clear container (I used plastic bottles or plastic cups)
• Scissor or Cutter
• Unpeeled garlic cloves
• Water
- Cut slightly below the neck level to remove the top piece of the plastic bottle.
- Remold the cut edges with a heat source, such as a stovetop, to form properly the edges.
- Fill the bottle with water and place your garlic on top of the ledge you made above, roots down. Keep this on your balcony and you'll have scapes in a few days! Allow them to develop to a height of several inches before cutting them off at the top.
When your garlic is ready, harvest and enjoy it! That’s all, thank you everyone for reading my post.
