HELLO FRIENDS
Okay so like have you ever really stopped to look at cacti and just gone wow? I used to think they were all the same just spiky green things that sit there and do nothing. But man was I wrong these plants are way more interesting than i ever gave them credit for.
You get all kinds of shapes and sizes. Some are all round and bumpy like little green pincushions covered in tiny spines. Others are tall and ribbed almost like they are wearing armor to protect themselves. And when the real ones bloom? The flowers are bright and pretty even the fake ones they add to some displays look pretty cool too.
They are set up in so many different ways. A bunch are grouped together in big planters with colorful blooms tucked in between to make everything pop. It’ls like someone took the time to arrange them just right so each one gets to show off.
Then theres the ones in individual pots these are my favorite. Some have white gravel spread on top of the soil which makes the green of the cactus stand out so much better. One pot even had these cute blue and white eggs in it I guess whoever put it together wanted to add a little extra fun to the look.
I know what you are thinking cacti are for deserts right? But here they look totally at home in the garden. There is even a spot where one cactus is sitting next to some leafy plants with super cool colored leaves not sure what those are called but they make the whole setup feel more full and lively.
The best part about cacti is they are not hard to take care of at all. You dont have to water them every single day which is perfect if you are like me and sometimes forget about your plants. They just kind of do their own thing slowly growing and looking tough as nails the whole time.
Whether theyre lined up on a shelf clustered in a corner of the yard or mixed in with other greenery these prickly little guys bring so much character to any space. They are proof that you dont need soft petals and delicate leaves to be gorgeous.
