I first noticed the tiny bell pepper while having my walk in the yard. It is just one and that was actually after it experience a fruit drop. I saw hope again after seeing that one bell pepper and even though I am so excited, I stop myself from reacting so much and didn't even share about it to Mama coz yk, i'm afraid that it may get shy and experience a fruit drop again, lolol. Call me crazy but I feel like if I become too happy about it, it may really aborts its fruits and we don't want that to happen ever again. But the truth is, Mama already knows and maybe she feel the same way, she didn't share the news to me tooi, lol. Doesn't really matter coz I will still notice it because I regularly have my walk in the yard.
So, I let the bell pepper grow a little and it was after surviving the heavy rain when I decided to snap some photos of it because it is just so pretty. It is an after the rain shots I did month ago. It is still very much wet and they literally had an early shower from the rain, look at all those rain drops. After that, I just watch that one and only bell pepper grow, snapping photos of it through my eyes. I seriously love how fast it grows and I am so happy that it is continuously growing. Yayyyy!!!
And then March 4, when it is already big that I took another photo of it. This time is is longer already. It is so pretty and green, huhu. And this just came from free but rotten bell pepper that Mama asked to have from the vegetable stand owner. I'm looking forward for more...
And today, March 7, it looks like this now. I think it got bigger. I think the rain in the fast week really helps as to why it doesn't do fruit drop again. I just hope it won't happen to the next ones as well because seriously, some of the tree has lots of flowers in it
And maybe those eggs shell helps too? Haha. I don't know but Mama keep on piling them on the pot. I'm curious if other who have homegarden here so this as well. (ノ゚0゚)ノ→
By the way, next to the bell peppers are the money tree on a pot and look how mess up they are now, especially its leaves. This is grasshoppers favorite but I didn't see one on its tree. Maybe it is already hiding. Poor money tree.
And guys, look what we have here now..i first noticed it yesterday and it is already this big so I feel stupid because why I didn't notice them sooner? Lol. Its crazy. Had to make sure that it is really a "Makahiya" so I poke it using my finger. And tadaaaaa, it easily fold, this is seriously a Makahiya, it get shy and folded when I poke it.
I love that we have them here now, I am curious why only now. According to Google, they just sprout on the ground even without planting them. It grows in a sunny area and yes, this part of our yard is receiving so much sunlight. We actually hang our laundry on this part, haha. I know it has its health benefits but we'll never dare to try it especially we don't know the process before taking it.
Moving on to the other plants, I spotted a big Guavas that I think is ready for harvest already. How can I tell? But penetrating its skin using my nail haha.. thats how I know that it is ready for harvesting.
This guava really us so helpful to us, aside from the fruits, we can even use the leaves, I mean its juices into cleaning wounds. ♪ \(ω\ )
And thats all for now. This walk is extra fun because of the bell pepper and the makahiya. I am looking forward for more plants that will suddenly sprout in our yard. What do I find there next time, I'm curious \(◎o◎)/. But I wish strawberry and apple will just magically grow here (≧▽≦)
