Hoy estoy feliz porque por fin conseguà algo que querÃa desde hace tiempo: un árbol de jade. Lo vi en una feria local y no lo pensé más. Ya está en casa con mis otras plantas y ahora forma parte de mi colección de suculentas, que poquito a poco les iré mostrando.
To be honest, I still don't know much about this plant, but I've been reading a bit. It's originally from South Africa and people call it "the money plant". According to feng shui, it brings prosperity and it's good to keep it near the entrance of your house or in the wealth corner. I don't know if it's true, but I like the idea.
About care: from what I've seen, it needs a lot of light (but not too much direct strong sun) and very little water. The soil has to drain well. I live in #Cuba 🇨🇺, which is a tropical country, so I think it can grow well here as long as it doesn't get too much rain or humidity.
La verdad es que sé poco de esta planta todavÃa, pero he estado leyendo. Es originaria de Sudáfrica y la llaman "la planta del dinero". Por el feng shui dicen que atrae la prosperidad y que va bien tenerla cerca de la entrada de casa o en la zona de la riqueza. No sé si será cierto, pero a mà me gusta la idea.
En cuanto a los cuidados, por lo que he visto necesita mucha luz, pero sin sol directo muy fuerte, y muy poca agua. Eso sÃ, la tierra tiene que drenar bien. Como vivo en #Cuba 🇨🇺, que es un paÃs tropical, creo que se puede dar bien siempre que no le dé mucha lluvia ni humedad en exceso.
