I’m really happy with my garden right now. Just look at it everything is so green and alive. The plants are growing really well and the leaves are big and strong. It feels good to see them doing good every day.
I think the reason they grow so nicely is because the soil here is good and rich. The weather is also perfect for them. It seems like this place is really made for growing vegetables so i don’t have a hard time taking care of them.
I decided to plant different kinds of veggies but the main ones i have are mustard greens chili and squash. These are the ones we always use for cooking. They are easy to grow and very useful so it’s really worth it to have them here.
First i have plenty of mustard greens. I love planting these because they grow really fast! In just a few weeks they are already big enough to pick. The leaves are wide and dark green and they taste so fresh. We usually put them in soup or boil them.
Mustard is really simple to take care of. I just water them every day and make sure they get enough sun. They don’t get sick easily so even if i am busy they still grow well. It’s nice to see them get bigger day by day.
Of course i can’t forget the chili! I have different kinds growing here. Some are small and very spicy and some are longer. We use chili for almost every meal so it’s very convenient to just go outside and pick some whenever i need to cook.
Chili plants are actually very strong. They love the sun and they don’t need too much water. Right now they have lots of flowers and small fruits starting to come out. I know soon they will be full of red and green chilies.
Then there is the squash. I really like growing squash because you can eat almost every part of it the fruit the flowers and even the young stems. They grow on vines so they spread out nicely in my garden. Sometimes i let them climb up to save space.
Overall iam just really enjoying my garden. Seeing mustard chili and squash growing together makes me feel proud. It is nice to have fresh food right outside our door. I will keep taking care of them so we can have a good harvest soon!
