I tend to overseed the flats, and then have to carefully separate the little seedlings. At this stage, I usually put them into cell packs that I've saved over the years. These Impatiens really were overdue, so that was the morning's main objective.
All the flats that were moved out this past week are doing well, even with the temps dropping hard at night. I have two heaters that I run to keep the greenhouse above 50°F.
Of course, the cold-loving plants are happy as can be since being put into 4" pots.
The lettuce has more than doubled in size since putting them in the #hydroponic rafts.
It won't be long before I start picking the largest leaves for salad.
The snaps, lobelia, and lettuce are settled in, and it seems I only lost a few since transplanting them.
I needed to plant the spinach seedlings, and it was time to fill the tower gardens with soil.
The spinach will be much happier planted than sitting longer in the seed trays. I still have half a flat left and may have to put them out into the garden. They just might survive as our nighttime temps are staying around 40°F.
Lastly, the potatoes are getting taller; they are twice as large since I took this photo. I hope your gardening season is doing well.
