This weekend, all Saturday was dedicated 100% to the plants, since the weather has been quite rainy dear friends of #hivegarden and that is excellent for the plants and they appreciate it.
I have, as I show you in the photos, some plants of banana fruit, banana topocho and banana male or frying, the names vary according to the country or locality, in short, I have planted sixteen plants since the patio of this new house is quite spacious, before we had the space more reduced and now we have realized that we can plant more things. In this year that we have in this new house we have already harvested aji margariteño and hot peppers as well.
These banana plants are already a year and a month old, enough to begin to bear fruit, at this moment, three of the sixteen have already begun to fluoresce, with these rains they are growing rapidly, some are more advanced than others, but they have already begun to produce. It is very good for us because we consume a lot of bananas and our son loves banana fruit.
We don't have much experience in planting, but some neighbors have always guided us and we are doing great, so far whenever we have planted and been able to harvest, always thanks to their wise advice. In fact, they have told us that this is the best time to plant because after March, April and May the sun is very strong here on the island and cultivating becomes very difficult.
Today we will also work with these postures, which are ready to plant in the ground.
Eggplant posture.
Paprika posture.
Cherry Tomato Postures
As you can see we are going to supply our yard a little bit, with products that we like to consume regularly and without any type of industrial fertilizer, because it affects me for allergies, a lot of chemicals and I hesitate to consume many things for that reason.
At home even the little pear decided to go out to see what we were doing hahaha. We left her to learn not to touch.
In our backyard, besides plantain, another thing that abounds is the yucca plants that my son planted five and a half months ago, that is to say, with half a month more we can harvest it, my husband counts the days, he loves yucca, hahaha I like it too, but if it were up to him, he would eat it every day, we like it but never like him.
Today we stopped very early to plant our postures because the first thing was to clean the land and prepare the soil properly.
Now all we have to do is take care of them, water them and watch out for pests, wait for the time to pass so we can harvest the fruits.
In another post I will show you the progress of our new planting.
I wish you an excellent Monday night and a good week's eating for all of you.
Bye.
