We are finally getting some good weather here in Ireland, and i’m making the most of it to tackle some long overdue jobs in the garden.

At first glance it looks pretty good, with the cherry tree stealing the limelight, but i have 3 raised beds that i mostly neglected last year. As a result, they have basically been overrun by 3 kinds of cabbage, and potatoes that i missed when harvesting last year.

The closest bed to the house has also been taken over, rather delightfully, by strawberries! That one im going to more or less leave as it is, apart from a little tidying and weeding in between them.
I tend to view gardening as a neverending series of experiments, so it’ll be interesting to see what this season has in store.
Happy planting, my green fingered friends!
