In my city this plant is called chives, but I don't understand what the name of this plant is in your country, so I'm looking to find out what the Latin name for chives is so that you understand what plant I mean. Chives have the Latin word 'Allium tuberosum'. These chive leaves are very delicious when mixed with tofu and bean sprouts when we process them and just stir-fry them simply. If you process these chive leaves, they smell like spring onions, they have a strong aroma and if you chew them, there is a chewy texture to the leaves, besides being stir-fried. These chive leaves can also be used as soup and various typical Indonesian fried foods, but from all that, I just found out that these chive leaves can be planted and grown in tropical areas like my city which has a tendency to be hot because at first I thought these chive leaves were just Can be planted in mountainous areas only.
This chive seedling was obtained from my wife when she visited her relative's house. The chive tree that I got was only one polybag, but it was said that planting these chive leaves is very easy and not too difficult so I will divide the chive seeds that have been obtained into several pots so that the chive leaves can grow even more and add to the list of vegetables in my house. With the large list of vegetables that I have planted in my house in the future, my wife will definitely reduce the amount of spending on vegetables.
The process of planting chives is first, I will prepare polybags first and fill them with soil until they are full, then in each polybag I make a hole to plant the chives seeds. After all the polybags were filled with soil and I put a hole in the middle of the polybag, then I broke up the existing chive seeds by carefully separating each chive leaf stem so that the roots were not injured and the chive leaves could live perfectly later. I planted one chive tree in each polybag that I had broken earlier, and so on gradually until each polybag was completely filled, and you can see that from the one polybag my wife brought, I was able to get a large number of new chive tree seeds. Hopefully my chive tree can all live in the future.
After I plant this chive tree, the final step is to water the chive tree with a little water gradually and I will do this every day. New plants have arrived, I have finished planting the chives and I will see in the next few months how they develop and I will share them again with all of you as a follow-up to my planting process today.
OK, that's all for now, plant my chives. Hopefully in the future my chive plants will grow well and can reduce my wife's expenses. Because chives are an expensive vegetable, cooking them is mixed with bean sprouts and tofu so you don't spend a lot of money buying chives. Greetings from Tomi Diwirja. Indonesia.
