When the gardener is too diligent, but not too experienced, it can create certain problems. I've already figured it out, so I managed to avoid a big gardening mistake.
This year I bought a garden shredder, which made me do general cleaning of the garden, an important part of which belongs to seasonal pruning. I read, for example, how to properly prune grapes or lilacs. It seems to be nothing complicated.
I also decided to make an autumn pruning of the magnolia. I planted it four years ago and it's really the pearl of my garden!
Fortunately, before doing this, I decided to read about the peculiarities of pruning magnolia and found that now it cannot be pruned under any circumstances, because the foundation for future flowering has already been laid and if I start waving a pruner, my magnolia will not bloom next year!
I carefully examined the plant. Indeed, something resembling buds has already formed on the tips of the branches! That's it. Each tree or shrub requires an individual approach, even if everything seems simple!
