My roses have finally bloomed! That year it happened somehow late. Last year they bloomed already in May, and now it's June 9. It's probably because of the rainy and cold May.
And of course, along with flowering, problems with pests began. Of course, everyone loves roses! What to do with it... All the usual options do not suit me, because the use of chemicals can harm my animals and birds. I'll probably have to go back to the old way of our grandmothers - spraying with soapy water or tobacco. In some cases, it helps. In the end, what am I losing? Absolutely nothing. If it doesn't bring results, I'll look for options further.
I especially like my tall roses. I spent several years to grow them. They remind me of a drawing from a fairy tale book that I had as a child.
But my stem roses are not going to bloom yet. I bought them last year and at first I wasn't even sure they survived the winter. But fortunately, all three plants were fine. It remains to wait for the flowering, if it will be at all this year.
