Transplanting a Mother-in-Law's Tongue
My garden begins to enter a new stage, where we begin to harvest various fruits, trees and shrubs begin to grow steadily and other plant species begin to expand and multiply rapidly, this means that the care and maintenance of the land has been effective, that the fertilizers and substrates are beginning to take effect and of course nature has responded me properly and kindly.
A few days ago I tasted my first melon, the first milkweed and cut the first leaves of white spinach, but this time I want to emphasize an area of the garden that is not dedicated to planting crops for human consumption, but on the contrary, here we will find ornamental plants that serve to beautify indoor spaces, also help us to bring good energy and according to various studies even to purify the air.
Today we are going to make a transplant of a species commonly called mother-in-law's tongue, which is characterized for being a plant that requires enough sunlight, little water and that in general terms grows in quite arid lands. This means that we are in an ideal environment for the development and growth of this great friend, since the surface on which it is planted is sandy and withstands daily temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius.
Being totally sincere the first plant to my house, I brought it hidden from the garden of a neighboring house, I planted it and little by little I was taking care of it until today I can tell you that a great pride that has already multiplied and in an accelerated pace continues to expand giving me many children. Many people who have visited me say that this is a very good plant to have in internal spaces, as it serves as an amulet to ward off bad vibes and bad energies that some individuals bring with them, which is why I decided to transplant a son to plant it in a pot and place it in my living room.
Here everything is done at low cost, applying the techniques of recycling for this way not only reduce costs, but also generate a small contribution to the care of the environment, therefore, I decided to take a plastic soda container, open it in half and make holes in the bottom, this simple element would be my pot, in which I will add several layers of substrates, where we can find sand, soil, dry and sawdust.
Once prepared the environment we proceed with the transplant, the roots we place them so that they are as natural as possible and finally we water all the land with abundant water, before putting it to the house we leave it a complete night outside in a place with shade and for the following morning already we can place it on a plate of cardboard of eggs in its place of destiny in the console of the room.
From here our plant is in a central place in the whole house, with a panoramic view, which is ideal to attract all those negative energies that we do not want to stay, but it is also a privileged space from where it can contribute to purify the air that sometimes is often loaded with undesirable particles, but best of all is that it gives a nice touch to the whole environment, since it gives us green and white shades that are really a work of art 100% natural.
