Good day everyone! Welcome to my gardening update. As has said in her own Garden Update, I have some tomatoes going on in the garden as pictured above!
I should probably try to grow a lot more of them but my time has been severely limited due to working at the docks. Even on weekend where I get time off, because the rest of my life does not get enough of my time, this causes me to squish all my duties together into smaller and smaller timeframes while also robbing me of the rest I need.
I need additional rest at this stage, but I feel guilty that I am not getting the things done that I want to!
Let's have a look at my garden.

One of my biggest problems in my garden has been the wind. I had to nail some ugly-looking boards to the fence frame to block of wind on the one side.
The plants are doing fairly well. The wind made my tomatoes lie down without breaking them but I have started stringing them up a bit to keep those tomatoes off the ground!

There are a whole whack of them... I have not counted them but for a family of 5... i could probably never have enough of them!

Here is another shot a few days later. The plants are even bigger and the garden path is settling in as well. Handy and cool looking. Like I mentioned in my DIY posts. This is all repurposed/recycled material other people would be throwing away!
This is part of my concept of building a sustainable garden out of very little instead of spending thousands of Rands to produce vegetables worth a few hundred. Also... I just do not have the disposable income!

I see some of the tomatoes are changing color. So we shall keep an eye out on those!
That's a short and sweet little update from me!
