These first photos are of the plant that's doing very well. If you look closely, you can tell it's a basil plant because of its characteristic scent. There are also some dried seeds that could sprout new plants. I'm not sure if I should make a small seed tray to keep them in, or just scatter them on the ground and wait for nature to do its work.

Then there's the other one, which, as you can see, is completely dry. We don't want to pull it up yet, hoping that with a little water in a few days it might revive. If not, we'll have to pull it up and try to scatter its seeds nearby, and maybe with luck, we'll get some more.

Of all the herbs we use when preparing our meals, basil is one of our favorites, although there's another one we also really like, cilantro, which has a wonderful aroma, especially in salads. Unfortunately, the one we had also dried up due to lack of water, and we're looking to see if anyone will give us some plants, but we haven't found anyone who has any. I'll sign off now, but not before thanking the #hivegarden community for the support they give us on our posts.
