Hey friends and draw a day community. I have been working on another pixel art which I decided to enter the Frostfall Founders character design contest, and the character prompt I chose was just too good to pass up: The Whiffly Winter Archivist. Just the name of it makes me feel excited to create thanks Krisette for another contest to help us get inspired
I made a gentle, quiet character who just loves to sniff old books and ink. That is the sweetest thing ever so I immediately knew I had to make him in pixel art style. I am still practicing though.
Meet Wiff, The Archivist
Here he is I tried to include all the cool design hints on the prompt. He has got that snowy coat, although I must admit the snow I made is too thin to be noticed hahaha. The little floating quills, and I love how his red spectacles turned out fit for a young bookworm like him. He moves so silently through the library, and I hope my pixel art captures that quiet, sparkling, frozen magic

Short Lore: Wiffly’s Quiet Magic
In the giant Frosty Folklore Library, lives Wiff. He is the quietest being you will ever meet, only making sounds when he takes a deep, fulfilled breath to sniff a really old page or some fresh winter ink. The books on the shelves flutter when he passes because they know he is gentle and they yearn to be read. He just loves the smell of old paper.
