Bug day ten - Not actually sure what this bug is called

As the tittle says I'm not sure what this guy is called. They're cute though right?!?

As many of my drawing do, I started with a sketch.

I started with the background.

Then the branch.

I started by putting down purple for the shape.

Then I worked it darker cause well, it's actually a black bug.

Then I fixed up the shape and and got ready to add the spots.

Then some shines.

Then the legs and antennae got some definition.

Then viola DONE
