Day four of drawing animals whose name starts with s. Todays animal is Sea Turtle. Drawn on paper with a micron pen and sketching done with a blackwing matte pencil.
I began with a sketch. I tried to be a little more detailed on the patterns so i could really nail that part of the drawing when it came to ink. I also doodled in the grassy stuff which didn't show up in the picture. Photography is not my strong suit.
I stared working from the head outward cause, well, no particular reason.
I probably should have taken a few more pictures but I started working on the background and such after getting the bulk of the inking on the turtle done.
From here I put in the watery part of the background.
From here all i had left to do was go over everything with an eraser to get rid of the pencil. I then did a little bit of details, and sign it of course.
