Doodle Magic – Steam on a Busy Street

Good day Hivers

For today’s Doodle Magic drawing challenge, a simple shape was given by Hive account@theithei , and it was up to us to turn it into something new. When I saw the shape, it reminded me of steam right away, so I imagined it rising from a street vent in a busy part of town. I wanted the steam to feel alive, moving through the scene while people pass by without thinking much about it. Some are walking, some are talking or running late, and the steam just keeps drifting upward, becoming part of the everyday moment.

I started by placing the shape first and building the scene around it. Once I had a clear vision that it is steam, the rest followed naturally. I added a vent on the ground, simple buildings, and a few people to give the drawing a sense of movement and life in the city. I kept the lines playful, letting the scene feel a bit crowded but still calm I want to capture that morning rush.

This was a fun way to turn something abstract into a small story. I like how a single shape can become part of a whole environment
