Hey Draw A Day artists and members.
Week 2 of the Eccentric Street Characters Drawing Challenge continues. So glad for the turn out. The city is waking up the winds changing directions, the buds say hello, and these strange souls keep appearing on the streets.
This week's lineup:
7.The Lamb Cloud Herder – a shepherd in layers of creamy fleece tightly bundled up, gripping a long ribbon staff that flutters like a living thing; guides plump, cottony clouds across pale March skies, humming sweet lullabies that stirs the wind gently
8.The Tulip Tickle Keeper – a giggling street jester in combination of petal pinks and yellows jumper, feather-tipped gloves fluttering like butterflies; darts between window boxes, tickling tulips until petals unfurl in delight and hope, releasing sweet fragrance into the damp air.
9 The Lion's Roar Echo Tuner – a broad shouldered busker with mane-like auburn hair, its legs are looking like that of a goat ; clutching a tarnished brass horn taller than itself; blasts bold notes that tame wild March winds, turning them into resonant echoes that vibrate through alleyways.
10 The Butterfly Wing Painter – a quiet artist harnessed with strapped palettes of liquid jewel tones, brush poised at first light; strokes delicate patterns onto quivering butterfly wings perched on fingertips, colors bleeding like watercolor under a soft, golden light.
11 The March Wind Kite Whisperer – a tangle-haired flyer entangled in dozens of shimmering strings, face skyward in fierce concentration; patchwork kites in tattered silk dragons and crescent moons
12 The Emerald Leaf Librarian – a serene archivist shrouded in living vines that pulse with sap; cradles an enormous open book of pressed leaves, murmuring catalog numbers while sorting crimson and viridian specimens that rustle like pages in the breeze.
Sketch their quirks, costumes, or quiet moments on the street. No deadline, just draw when it feels right.
