Hey Draw A Day artists and members.
Week 3 – Eccentric Street Characters Drawing Challenge is still here. The middle of March already with magic lingering: luck, balance, and the first real green pushing through the cracks.
Today's characters to meet:
13 The Sunbeam Jar Filler – an early morning bug, who is a roaming collector with a belt of clinking glass bottles glowing warm amber; it tilts each vessel to trap sunbeams slipping between buildings, corking them with wax seals to peddle portable pockets of spring warmth on chilly corners.
14 The Frog Pond Melody Maker – a crooning dragonfly-like musician whose guitar body ripples like disturbed pond water, strings humming deep amphibian chords; seated on mossy curbstone, it strums lullabies that summon tiny green larvae from nearby puddles to join the twilight serenade.
15 The Violet Velvet Curator – an elegant silhouette in flowing deep-purple robes that catch every stray gleam; arranges fallen violet petals into intricate velvet tapestries pinned to brick walls, fingers caressing textures as if reading poems.
16 The Growing Pains Gardener – a tender, slightly rumpled wanderer with dirt under nails; kneels beside awkward sprouts, patting stems and whispering encouragement while late afternoon light filters through budding branches overhead.
17 The Lucky Charm Repairer – a bespectacled beast tinkerer hunched over a portable workbench of scattered clovers, coins, and rabbit feet; with tiny tools it mends frayed fortunes, sparks of green magic flying as broken luck is soldered back together under streetlamp glow.
18 The Morning Dew Collector – an ethereal dawn figure in thick cloak that sparkles like frost; crystal vials dangle from its fingers as it delicately harvest dew drops from leaves and railings, each one captured like a liquid diamond before the sun steals it away.
Capture their tools, expressions, or how they move through the changeable light.
