Hey cozy friends
The fire burned low, and the circle has grown quiet before snow gets thick outside. Today’s prompt, Seasonal Nesting, is all about that instinct to tuck things in, to fold, to ready, to make the space soft again before the cold settles deep.
Day 5: Seasonal Nesting
Blankets pile thick and heavy into woven baskets. Paws press down to tuck corners, feeling the fibers that still give off the warmth of summer. Mittens hang by the window, dripping slow onto the floor, damp yarn and soap and pine tangling in the warm air. The fire sighs low, its heat brushing faces, while cinnamon steam curls from a pot, sweet and heavy enough to taste. Outside, snow taps faintly against the glass; inside, everything folds in — soft, safe, ready.
Vibe: home, care, preparing for winter — the way small hands build warmth against the dark.
